Peaceful Mode: Release Status and Development Roadmap

Peaceful Mode remains in active development as of August 2026. Developer AIHASTO (a two-person indie studio consisting of MakenCat and Umeerai) confirmed via Discord and Boosty that Peaceful Mode is essentially a full "second half" of the game rather than a small patch.

  • Scope & Features: Peaceful Mode introduces a slice-of-life simulation mode featuring Crazy Mita, rhythm and reaction minigames (clapping, rock-paper-scissors), new branching dialogue, and unique dedicated endings based on daily interactions.
  • Release Timeline: Originally targeted for early 2026, the developers shifted away from hard deadlines to avoid crunch. Community consensus and dev progress suggest a release when fully polished.
  • Price & Unlock Condition: It will be a free update for all owners of MiSide (not paid DLC). Players can satisfy the unlock condition in advance by achieving the "Conditions Met" (Stay / Good) ending. Full details are on the Peaceful Mode status page.
